This policy explains what information the Jesus Always Loves You website (jesusalwayslovesyou.org) and its Android app collect, why, and your choices. The app shows the same website, so everything here applies to both.

What we collect

• Nickname (guests). You can sign in as a guest with just a nickname you choose. No email address, phone number or password is required for guests.
• Member accounts. If you create an account, we store your username and password (the password only as a secure hash). Your full name, email, phone number and address are optional; if you add them, only you and the church administrators can see them. We also record when you joined and last signed in. If you add a profile photo, it is shown to everyone next to your name on your posts; you can remove it at any time.
• Bible notes and highlights. Notes, highlights and your reading place in Read Bible are stored on our server under your nickname or account, so you can see them on other devices. Other users cannot see them.
• Things you post. Board posts and replies, comments, prayer requests, likes, event RSVPs, gallery photos (with captions) and files you upload. These are shown to other users of the site with your nickname.
• File activity. When you upload, download or delete a file in the Files tab, we record your nickname, the file name, the time and your IP address, so administrators can see who did what.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our server records technical information about requests (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
• Administrator accounts. Church staff who manage the site sign in with a username and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Stored on your device

Your browser or the app keeps your sign-in, language and dark-mode choice, favorite hymns/Bible audio, recently played items and Bible-reading progress. This stays on your device and is removed when you log out or clear the app's data. Verse read-aloud uses your device's built-in speech voices.

How we use it

Only to run the site: showing posts and files to the community, letting administrators moderate content and investigate misuse, keeping backups, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell or rent your information, show ads, or use analytics or advertising trackers.

Other services

Some pages load content from other companies, which receive your IP address and follow their own privacy policies: YouTube (sermon videos), Google Maps (maps and directions), and code libraries and fonts from cdn.jsdelivr.net and Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States, where our data and backups are stored.

How long we keep it

Posts, uploads and file activity are kept until they are deleted by you (where the site allows) or by an administrator. A member account and its contact details, notes and highlights are kept until you delete the account (My account → Delete account) or an administrator removes it; your posts and comments stay, under your name. Database backups are kept for up to 30 days. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run the service.

Your choices

You can use most of the site without posting anything. To ask for your posts, uploads or other information to be deleted or corrected, contact us at josephjarng@gmail.com with the nickname you used and what you'd like removed. Because guest nicknames are not verified, we may ask for details to confirm a request is yours. Members can change or remove their contact details, and delete their account, themselves in My account.

Children

The site is intended for a general church community audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 beyond what a parent or guardian posts with them. If you believe a child has shared information, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption. Administrator passwords are stored as secure hashes. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't post sensitive personal information.

• 성경 메모와 형광펜. 성경 읽기의 메모, 형광펜, 읽던 곳은 다른 기기에서도 볼 수 있도록 닉네임 또는 계정으로 서버에 저장됩니다. 다른 사용자는 볼 수 없습니다.
• 작성한 내용. 게시판 글과 댓글, 기도 제목, 좋아요, 행사 참석 표시, 갤러리 사진(설명 포함), 자료실에 올린 파일. 이 내용은 닉네임과 함께 다른 사용자에게 보입니다.
• 자료실 활동 기록. 자료실에서 파일을 올리거나 받거나 삭제하면 닉네임, 파일 이름, 시간, IP 주소를 기록하여 관리자가 확인할 수 있습니다.
• 서버 기록. 대부분의 웹사이트처럼 서버는 사이트 운영과 보안을 위해 요청 정보(IP 주소, 시간, 요청한 페이지, 브라우저 종류)를 기록합니다.
• 관리자 계정. 사이트를 관리하는 교회 담당자는 아이디와 비밀번호로 로그인합니다(비밀번호는 안전한 해시로만 저장).

기기에 저장되는 정보

브라우저나 앱에 로그인 상태, 언어·다크 모드 설정, 즐겨찾기한 찬송가/성경 오디오, 최근 재생 목록, 성경 읽기 진행 상황이 저장됩니다. 이 정보는 기기에만 있으며 로그아웃하거나 앱 데이터를 지우면 삭제됩니다. 구절 읽어주기는 기기에 내장된 음성을 사용합니다.

사용 목적

사이트 운영에만 사용합니다: 글과 파일을 공동체에 보여주기, 관리자의 내용 관리와 오용 확인, 백업, 보안 유지. 정보를 판매하거나 대여하지 않으며, 광고나 분석·광고 추적 도구를 사용하지 않습니다.

다른 서비스

일부 페이지는 다른 회사의 콘텐츠를 불러오며, 해당 회사는 IP 주소를 받고 자체 개인정보 방침을 따릅니다: YouTube(설교 영상), Google 지도(지도와 길찾기), cdn.jsdelivr.net 및 Google Fonts(fonts.googleapis.com)의 코드 라이브러리와 글꼴. 사이트는 미국의 Amazon Web Services(AWS)에서 운영되며 데이터와 백업도 그곳에 저장됩니다.

보관 기간

글, 올린 파일, 자료실 활동 기록은 본인(사이트에서 허용하는 경우) 또는 관리자가 삭제할 때까지 보관됩니다. 회원 계정과 연락처, 메모, 형광펜은 본인이 계정을 삭제(내 계정 → 계정 삭제)하거나 관리자가 삭제할 때까지 보관되며, 쓴 글과 댓글은 이름과 함께 남습니다. 데이터베이스 백업은 최대 30일간 보관됩니다. 서버 기록은 운영에 필요한 기간만 보관합니다.

선택 사항

아무것도 올리지 않고도 사이트 대부분을 사용할 수 있습니다. 글, 파일 등 정보의 삭제나 수정을 원하시면 사용한 닉네임과 원하는 내용을 적어 josephjarng@gmail.com으로 연락해 주세요. 손님 닉네임은 확인되지 않으므로 본인 요청인지 확인하기 위해 추가 정보를 여쭐 수 있습니다. 회원은 내 계정에서 연락처를 고치거나 지우고 계정을 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다.

어린이

이 사이트는 교회 공동체 전체를 위한 것입니다. 부모나 보호자와 함께 올린 내용 외에 13세 미만 어린이의 정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다. 어린이가 정보를 공유했다고 생각되면 연락해 주시면 삭제하겠습니다.

보안

사이트는 HTTPS 암호화를 사용하며 관리자 비밀번호는 안전한 해시로 저장됩니다. 완벽하게 안전한 시스템은 없으므로 민감한 개인정보는 올리지 마세요.
